Finding out how to go about cancelling your match.com subscription can be pretty straight forward, however as to be expected they don’t want you to cancel your match.com membership so there is no big “cancel here” button on the site.

1. Get into your account on match.com
2. Click on “account” located to the right of your screen at the top
3. Choose the “change/cancel membership”

5 And hit “continue cancellation”
6. Then choose “cancel subscription”
And your account will be cancelled.
Even though you have cancelled your membership you will be able to still use your account (f you want to) until the end of the period that you have already paid for- YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND, many have tried ( us included ) and all have been stonewalled.
Additionally, having been contacted by several members who say they have been charged even though they have completed the steps above, we suggest you also:
1: Log into your online banking (or call your card company) and cancel the Direct Debit
2: Keep a copy of the cancellation email that was sent to you confirming that you have cancelled.

“Subscriptions paid by bank card, credit card or PayPal are automatically extended at the end of your initial subscription period.
You can view information about your current subscription including the date of the next scheduled payment (if automatic renewal is active) on the ‘My subscription’ tab of your ‘My account’ page.
You can cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription by following the instructions given on the ‘My Subscription’ tab of your ‘My account’ page, which can be reached via the link displayed in the menu bar at the top of any page when you are logged into the site.
Notification of your wish to cancel must be made no later than 48 hours before your next subscription payment is due.
