An adventurous couple armed with a donated motorbike, a side-car and Jamie Olivers doccumentory crew have set off on an epic 1500 mile journey around Scotland to see if they are able to track down the reasons that the Scots are able to hold onto lasting relationships and see if they can find out the Scots’s secrets to maintaining a a happy marriage.
The expedition that is sponsored by MatchAffinity the online dating service from Match that aims to pair off compatible matches is iinteneded to help singles online to find lasting love by looking at what make a succesful relationship.
The secrets Mike and Alanna have picked up so far will will be studied by Matchaffinity and may be integrated into the site and will be shared with the users of the dating site to help them to start off their own lasting relationships.
The whole thing is being filmed by the same documentary team that are behind many of Jamie Olivers TV programmes, and already has quite a following on Facebook and twitter.
Mike and Alanna who are both Londoners in their early 30’s both met following a blind date 6 years ago and were married just 3 years later when mike Proposed at Gatwick Airpot,. have quit their jobs in the media to go on an Indiana Jones style quest,using a bike and a side-car, and they hope to interview couples in Scotland and to find the traits that lead to happy relationships, and any secret tips that the locals are willing to share.
